Outdoor Lighting of Jacksonville Holds Golf Outing for Local Charities
Outdoor Lighting of Jacksonville, Florida, NiteLites, held a Golf Outing for local Business Owners and Presidents, Sunday, November 1st, 2009 at The Plantation on Amelia Island. Participants included Brian Vaughn with Concrete Solutions, Kevin Carroll from Swimcraft Pools, Phillip Smith from the Construction Company, Tony Evans with Five Star Design, and Trevor Rosendahl and Paul Davison, representing NiteLites.
NiteLites’ own Paul Davison came out above par as the winner of the event, with a score of 69, but the real winners of the day were Jacksonville’s local charities, who received all proceeds. Owner and Operator, Mr. Trevor Rosendahl, and his staff have been active in the support of worthwhile local Jacksonville charities. Mr. Rosendahl said that he feels businesses operating in a community have a responsibility to do their part to help make a difference.
Franchises throughout the U.S. have a measurable impact on local and national charitable organizations. NiteLites has been active at the corporate level by supporting youth sports teams, local orphanages, Lance Armstrong's Live Strong Campaign, Katrina Relief Fund, and the Ohio vs. USA High School Football Challenge. NiteLites franchisees have also actively supported charities in their communities such as Meals on Wheels, Caring for Children, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Cystic Fibrosis, the Alzheimer's Association, Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Shelter for Abused Women, the Humane Society, and local youth soccer, football, wrestling, and baseball programs to name a few.
